Barbara  Gordon Montessori School- Colleyville, Tx.
The 3,400 s.f. former animal barn then storage barn was converted to an intermediate school for 7^th and 8^th grade students. The entire interior of the structure was demolished with only the masonry walls and steel trusses remaining. The school has a library, several open classrooms, a science laboratory, a practice kitchen, a laundry room and a large covered outdoor classroom. A new clear story light well was added to the central corridor. The project was completed  in 2010 with a budget of about $300,000.00.
